Gilmour Choi, who worked for a large Korean guitar company and was also a musician, founded Gilmour Guitars to build guitars that could provide greater satisfaction and value to guitar players.

All Gilmour guitars are built to balance the advantages of mass production and handcrafted guitars for the best quality. They are characterized by actively utilizing computer-aided design and sophisticated CNC machining while maintaining a very high proportion of handwork.

The Gilmour Guitars team, comprised of guitar players who have played the guitar for a long time, strives to build high-quality guitars in locations closest to guitar players. All work, from woodworking to painting and pickup building, is done at Gilmour Guitars’ workshop located in Paju, Gyeonggi-do.

Gilmour Choi and his team are not content to simply reproduce the great legacies of the past. Gilmour Guitars aims to create new standards that can be offered to contemporary guitar players through constant research and challenge.
